When my fence was in need of new paint, and a holiday came around, I decided to have a little fun. I bought some paint at a paint store, in colors befitting the holiday. The night before the holiday I painted part of my fence in these bright, holiday colors. The following night I painted over these colors to make the fence its original color.

Following the passing of the holiday it was time to completely paint the fence its normal color. It took many hours to paint the fence. When I paint, I try to do a thorough job so the fence paint will last.

Much of my fence lies along a busy road. During times of heavy traffic, several drivers yelled compliments to me from their cars, telling me how nice the holiday colors had looked. I was surprised at the number of comments regarding my holiday fence paint. Now I am planning to paint the fence festively for future holidays.
