I am a lucky kid, because I have a mom and dad who love me and spend a lot of time with me. I also have friends whose parents spend time with me when I visit.

No matter how much time my mom and dad and other adults spend with me, I wish they could spend even more time with me. A kid can learn so much, and feel so good receiving adult attention. I always want more time with my parents, no matter how much of their time they already give me. I realize they are busy, so I don't beg, but I do wish they could spend more time with their kid.

Some kids aren't as lucky as me because they don't have two parents, or their parents don't live together, or their parents have to work or travel too much. When I grow up, I am going to try to spend a lot of time with my kids, and their friends who aren't so lucky.

Spend time with a kid. It'll make them happy and smart.
